I received some fantastic news on 31 March. My post-apocalyptic gay paranormal romance, Soul Survivor, is a finalist in the 2020 Aurealis Awards – Best Horror Novel category. 

The awards received nearly 850 entries across 15 categories and I am stoked to have made it this far. Even when I entered at the end of 2020, I thought I’d barely have a chance. After all, it’s a post-apocalyptic gay paranormal romance novel…

The final award date is yet to be announced but honestly, having made it into the finals is so awesome.
