Loved reading this book. I’d been intrigued ever since hearing Maurice was written in about 1913 and only published in the 70s after Forster’s death. It was interesting to read a book that was written in the time period it was set and navigating the attitudes towards homosexuality of the day. Beautifully written, pleasantly surprising and almost nothing like what I was expecting. Read it.
